Legal Disclaimer
**Nothing published on Archipelago Desk (balioffshorehub.com) is legal, tax, or investment advice. It is general market-entry information, accurate to the best of our knowledge as of 2026 and subject to change. Before you register a PT PMA or move any money, engage a licensed Indonesian notary, a corporate lawyer, and a registered tax consultant.**
This page governs your use of balioffshorehub.com. By reading, downloading, or acting on anything here, you accept the terms below. It is deliberately plain, because the whole point of this site is that Bali market entry deserves honest information rather than a sales pitch.
Is anything on this site legal, tax, or investment advice?
No. Archipelago Desk is an independent information hub about foreign company setup in Bali and Indonesia — PT PMA structures, KPPA representative offices, KITAS, KBLI codes, OSS-RBA licensing, and the tax reality of market entry. We explain how the system works. We do not, and cannot, tell you what to do in your specific situation.
We are not a law firm, not a notary, not a licensed tax consultant, and not a registered financial or investment adviser in Indonesia or anywhere else. No article, table, guide, checklist, or reply from us creates a lawyer-client, accountant-client, or adviser-client relationship. Reading our content is not a substitute for engaging licensed professionals who can review your facts, sign documents, and carry professional liability for their opinions.
| What Archipelago Desk is | What Archipelago Desk is not |
|---|---|
| A general information hub on Indonesian market entry | A law firm, notary, or tax practice |
| Educational content, date-stamped and sourced in prose | Personalised legal, tax, or investment advice |
| A referral point to vetted licensed partners | The party that files, signs, or guarantees anything |
| Published by Juara Holding Group | A regulator, agency, or government body |
Why do we date-stamp every figure “as of 2026”?
Because Indonesian regulation moves, and figures that are correct today can be wrong next quarter. For example, we state that a PT PMA’s minimum total investment plan is IDR 10,000,000,000 and that minimum paid-up capital is generally IDR 2,500,000,000 — a floor which, according to Emerhub, is set by Article 26(10) of BKPM Regulation No. 5 of 2025. We flag that OSS-RBA has, in practice, been blocking certain low and medium-low risk KBLI codes for PT PMAs registered at Bali addresses.
All of that is accurate to our knowledge as of 2026 and marked “subject to change.” Currency conversions, capital thresholds, tax rates such as the 0.5% final turnover regime for turnover under IDR 4.8 billion, processing timelines, and code eligibility can be revised by BKPM and the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP), or local district authorities at any time, without notice to us. Always confirm current numbers with a licensed professional before you rely on them.
Who should you actually rely on before you act?
Before registering an entity, injecting capital, signing a deed, or holding land rights, engage:
- A public notary in Indonesia for the deed of establishment (Akta Pendirian) and its legalisation.
- A licensed Indonesian corporate lawyer for structure, KBLI selection, ownership limits under the Positive Investment List, and any nominee question — an arrangement we consider risky and effectively unenforceable, and never recommend.
- A registered tax consultant for corporate NPWP, PKP status, VAT, transfer pricing, personal tax exposure for resident foreign directors, and cross-border matters including automatic exchange of information (CRS).
We do not guarantee any outcome — not approval, not a timeline, not a licence, not a tax position, not a return on any investment. Anyone who promises you a guaranteed result should be treated with caution.
How do we make money, and what is our referral-fee disclosure?
Transparently. Archipelago Desk is operated by Bali Premium Trip, an independent concierge and introduction service — not the owner of any legal or financial asset, and not a licensed adviser. When our content is helpful and you want hands-on help, we can introduce you to vetted, licensed Indonesian partners: notaries, corporate lawyers, and registered tax consultants who do the regulated work.
We may receive a referral fee or commission when you engage a partner we introduce you to. That is how this free resource is funded. This never changes the price you pay the partner, and it never buys favourable coverage: we describe nominee structures and permanent-establishment risk the same way whether or not a referral results. Any engagement you enter is a separate contract between you and that licensed partner. Vetting reduces risk; it is not a warranty of their work, and you should carry out your own due diligence.
How do we handle your data under UU PDP and the GDPR?
When you contact us we process limited personal data. Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law — Undang-Undang No. 27 of 2022 (UU PDP) — governs this processing, and for visitors in the EU or EEA we also act consistently with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
| Data point | Purpose | Basis | Your control |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, email, WhatsApp number | Reply to your enquiry | Consent | Access, correct, delete |
| Message content | Understand what you need | Legitimate interest | Withdraw any time |
| Introduction details (if you ask) | Connect you to a vetted partner | Your explicit consent | Refuse or revoke |
We do not sell your data. We share it with a partner only when you ask us to make an introduction. Under UU PDP and the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data, and you may withdraw consent at any time by emailing sales@balipremiumtrip.com. We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to help you, then for a reasonable period for records, after which it is deleted.
What are our liability and introduction terms?
Content is provided “as is,” without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juara Holding Group, Bali Premium Trip, and Archipelago Desk accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on this site or from any engagement with a partner we introduce.
Introductions are not bookings and are not binding on anyone. We are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, the scope, fees, timelines, or outcomes of any work you commission from a licensed partner.
